Dear William,

 I just wanted to tell you about the Muse. Something somebody's landing on my territory, then it vanishes just like some kind of fucked-up UFO but anyway, the stain of it on my ground, the scent of it all around, the weight of it in my air, the whispers and noises that were never spared to me, it then BELONGS to me, and i don't give a fuck of what the Muse then thinks, if it ever wants me to stop my chimes and winds, i don't give a shit about what the Muse then thinks. Or thinks not, obviously. It belongs to me since the Muse has marked my silver sand with its footprints, its glow, its smoke, its haze, its jokes, it mazes, it's broke but it's good a matter for a song isn't it? As long as you keep in mind that it's more a It than a He. Shan't be otherwise.

 cher william je voulais juste te parler de la Muse. Quelque chose quelqu'un atterrit sur mon territoire, puis disparait comme une sorte d'OVNI pourri, mais finalement, la tache qu'il/elle a laissé sur mon sol, son parfum qui flotte partout, son poids dans mon air, les murmures et bruits qui ne m'ont jamais été épargnés, cela m'APPARTIENT, et je me fiche pas mal de ce que la Muse pense alors, s'il/elle veut éteindre mes vents et carillons, je m'en fout de ce que la Muse alors pense. Ou ne pense pas, en fait. Cela m'appartient depuis que la Muse a marqué mon sable d'argent de ses pas, sa lumière, sa fumée, sa brume, ses blagues, ses labyrinthes, c'est brisé mais c'est le bon ciment d'une chanson n'est ce pas? These pictures were shot by Tiffany way back in Paris, in a little basement where we played in silver winter 200X and it was Blake's b-day and she had wine and we had sound troubles such as a fucked-up amp, weirdo wires and Will's break-up and angers, and regrets, and it was the last gig before the three of us for we were three split up. Then months and months poured and him and her on the picture in a blur a purple yellow pink and deep blue haze back together in chords and scores and scars and shores/anchors, through the waves, and listening to old Jimi singing:
